They have a lot of fun during their performances. They met in 2001 at a local Big Band radio station where they were both volunteer dj’s. They had a regular listener who would call the station and make requests for his favorite songs. The historic radio station was KTOZ a.m. 1060 in Springfield, Missouri. It was the only radio station on Route 66. It also made news for having its entire crew of dj’s working there as volunteers. Rick and Becky decided to visit this man who called them regularly. They found him at his residential home. There was a gymnasium there. They looked around and decided to take some music out there and have a dance. They even got married in 2002 having their love of the old music as something they could enjoy together.

They entertain now regularly at these residential facilities and encourage everyone to join in the fun by singing or playing a musical instrument. Originally, they just played the songs for audiences. However, they found the more Becky sang, the better the reaction. So Becky took some voice lessons to help with her tone and strengthen her voice. This is her dream come true to be able to sing for people. Props are a part of their performances, as well as costumes. Rick built the set and has remastered some of the pre-recorded music to which Becky sings. He also does the sound, lights and "backup" vocals.

They’ve learned to do it all for their show. "We didn’t know what we were doing at first but acted as if we did—and so we learned to perform. Now, we’ll have a good show no matter what the circumstances," Rick says. We have also played at big parties at hotels and for benefits from a high school auditorium in Oklahoma to a benefit for the girl scouts in Kansas. This is a lot of fun for us and extremely rewarding. Our performances are guaranteed to thoroughly entertain you!
